Business Development Executive France
VonWood is growing fast and working hard to bring the wood industry to the 21st century and help make the planet more sustainable as we do so with our timber digital marketplace.
To fuel our expansion we are looking for a dedicated wood trade native with a digital mindset to help us grow.
Will you be part of our business development team to take the next step towards success as our new Business Development Executive France.
We have a huge ambition, but don’t worry; you’re not doing this alone. With Sander, our Head of Business Development, you’ll roll up your sleeves to put VonWood on the map. As a true business development professional, you will be the first contact in the sales process, for new leads and existing customers, you will discover business segments and proactively reach out to them in a VonWood way!
You will drive the appropriate connections between supply and demand.
Working in a start-up means you have a lot of freedom to bring your own ideas to life. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders you’ll develop effective sales strategies to bring VonWood in France to the next level. The more VonWood grows, the more you and your role and team can grow.
What wood you do?
- Identify and establish relationships with potential new clients
- Demo VonWood to potential clients, show our value, and close those deals!
- Manage a consistent and predictable sales pipeline of new business
- Identify and build strategic relationships with key accounts
- Convert inbound client-flow and set up introductions by phone or visits with clients/leads
- Convert prospects (cold calling) into recurring and happy customers
- Discover clients' pains to further shape our product-vision
- Own and oversee the match between clients and suppliers
- You will act as the first point of contact in France for both clients and suppliers

For this position you will mostly work from home (France/Belgium), and will be in our amazing office in Amsterdam once or twice a month.
You will be the boots on the ground for the VonWood business in France, and therefore have a great responsibility and ownership to start reaching out and setting up business in a new but highly potential market.
